Sorry that I am a bit behind on posting these results, but here we go:
As you can see, younger Jimmy was the winner. I found this a bit surprising, especially considering all the iconic post-war roles he was in—including his work with great directors such as Alfred Hitchcock. But I also think his persona is slightly less serious in the ‘30s and ‘40s, so that may account for his pre-war popularity. Then again, there are some that just prefer films from that era better. And just so you know, I voted for ‘30s and ‘40s Jimmy myself. :)
After my last Classic/Contemporary Celebrity Look-a-like post proved to be quite popular, I have been saving a folder of stars that I think resemble each other. Now maybe I’m the only one that thinks these people look similar. Granted, they are not great physical resembles, yet it’s just something about them that recalls the other star. Let me know what you think. And feel free to say that they look nothing alike. We all see things differently!
First up we have David Niven and Crispin Bonham-Carter (from 1995’s Pride & Prejudice). They both have similarly shaped noses, faces, and mouths, and curly-ish hair.
Next up is Catherine Denueve and Amy Adams.
Granted, Denueve is in a class of her own, but I can’t help thinking that something about their face shape and noses seems similar.
I couldn’t just pick one photo of each!
In this photo you can see how both have a slight dent in their chins.
So what do you think? Do either of these pairs look remotely similar to you?
