…and God Bless America!
Love these! I think my favorite is that one of Ava Gardner. She looks so fresh and windswept and pretty!
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing younger photos of Susan Hayward when they were taking cheese cake photos of her. Such a difference from those drunken, troubled women movies she was in later on in the late 40s and 50s.
Always loved that one of Anne Miller. Sooo colorful and great!
Thanks for sharing :)
I love that one of Ava, too! Good observation about Susan. I need to see more of her movies!
ReplyDeleteAudrey,
ReplyDeleteI'm late to the 4th of July celebration so I hope you saved me some cake or something.
These photos are fantastic! I hadn't seen the one I have of Ann Miller in color so that was a treat. The one of Crawford and that giant firecracker has me in stitches.
Fantastic candids.

You have to wonder what some of the stylists were thinking on a few of these...(I didn't even post the extent of crazy ones) but I guess they are only so many props for the 4th of July. And only so many ways to pose with a firecracker! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
